Trail running events are expensive – but there is an alternative.
Long distance walking association organises walking events – often 20 or 30 miles. And they welcome runners.
Great discovery and I’ve already signed up to the exciting and likely picturesque White Cliffs Challenge. I will be running (not uphill though!) the 30 miles.
It’s in September. All signed up. For the princely sum of just £8!
Good for getting some cheap ultra distances in on my prep for a hundred mile event in 2014.
Must remember to bring my mug. Essential equipment y’know!
