Virtual run from London to Moscow – via Paris, Berlin, Minsk – Day 1 report – 70.5 miles / 2,015 miles

So, I have this goal of 2,015 miles this year. To make it a bit more interesting, and so I can learn a bit more about Europe, I have turned it into a virtual grand tour from London to Moscow – via Paris, Berlin, Warsaw, Minsk, and finally an eastern suburb of Moscow. I have done 70.5 miles so far this year… which after leaving London, running through Brixton, Streatham…. and down Purley Way, Croydon, to Eastbourne and then to Newhaven….. puts me on the ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe – and just five miles from the port (assume for the purposes of this that I have been running around the ferry deck!). I will post about the places I “run through”…. every night.

Brrr….. chilly out here on the deck!
