Today was a work from home day. So I had more time without hours of commuting to run and do other things important to me.
I went for my usual walk. I have a regular short walk I have been doing without fail for months and months. It’s less than half a mile but I love connecting with the new day.
I had a talk that I was doing this afternoon so I stole a 2.5 mile run in the middle of the day. It was a regular route of mine through the field. Managed a nice moderate paced 9:23 a mile. I didn’t have a huge amount of time but I find that running before something that needs mental focus is really useful.

After work I headed out for another 2.5 mile run. It was across the fields another direction and hillier. It is a lovely route and I did it a lot during lockdown. It was as peaceful now as it was then. Mostly trail. Perfect run.
Then back afterwards for a bbq and a beer in the garden.
