So – I reached Cormeilles-en-Vexin, France today on my virtual run. Great stuff. I am loving France. A lot.
I am getting closer to Paris all the time. Every day – more miles. I am now just less than marathon distance to the centre.
I can almost taste the gorgeous crepes in my mouth. …. Limon et Sucre. Can’t wait. Hopefully this time I visit Paris, the Eiffel Tower will be open. It was closed last time I visited because of the fog. Fingers crossed this time. Thanks for following my (virtual*) adventure 🙂 What shall I visit when I reach Paris?
In other news, I am getting to grips with Strava as an app. I am really quite liking it. It is starting to make more sense to me now. I am also really looking forward to my Kent Coastal Challenge – which is an absolutely real, absolutely epic run with a couple of friends – 210 miles in 4 days in March.
* I hope everyone realises that the run to Moscow is “virtual”. I am running the miles – but not necessarily on that route. Most of my miles are in London, or in Kent. I am doing this virtual run because it is making me a bit more interesting.
