t-8 #runthecoast rest day but a big one tomorrow with Susie @serpentinerc @runmaidstone

Absolutely nothing on the running front today. Well, apart from planning a nice little run tomorrow on the North Downs Way. We are really lucky to live almost on the doorstep of NDW. We plan to start from Charing and run to Maidstone. Most of it is on trail, only the final bit is paved as we come down into Maidstone.

We ran a bit of it last year just as Susie took her first steps as a runner. She is now a fellow member of Serpentine Running club in London. I am also a member of Maidstone Harriers and Egerton Running Club. We will do Maidstone Park run on Saturday and run with Egerton on Sunday.

There are three great things about this. 1. It is on the trail. 2. It is point to point. 3. I get to run with my wife. She has recently got into running and has already knocked out a marathon and she loves the trail. We have had a curry and some drinks tonight as good prep. 🙂

Total running mileage for 2016 so far 583. All of this is in the run up to #runthecoast which I am doing with 4 mates along the coast. We are running 200+ miles over 4 days from Hythe to Bournemouth. A lovely stretch of coast. To support our fundraising efforts for Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) please go here http://www.justgiving.com/hythetoIOW
