Nothing compares to the feeling of reaching a city like Paris, knowing that you’ve run the distance and most other people who have completed that journey will have flown, taken the train, or driven. WOW…. what a feeling.
I wanted to run by the Eiffel Tour, and then down the River Seine so that I could see some landmarks. The last time I was here was back in 2008. So, I’ve taken the inevitable photos, and bedded down for the night in the Latin Quarter.
Paris is an amazing city. Really pleased to be here. I reached the Louvre.
So, where next? I’m going to relax today and have a look around Paris. Tomorrow I will start running again.
Then, it is a 140 mile run to cross the French-Belgian border to reach Mons, then on to Brussels, and then towards Berlin.
Berlin is my favourite city ever!
