I had a lovely run this morning with the Egerton running club. There were 17 of us out this morning. That’s our best ever turnout on a Sunday run.
We had a 8 mile run. In a lovely butterfly shape. The weather was nice for a change. It was fairly warm and sunny though a little icy.
I ran in my brooks pure grit trail shoes. I have them on a weeks free trail. They are lovely and cushioned even though they are quite minimal shoes.
Unfortunately my socks had rubbed through and I ended up with a blister 😦 I have to give them back Tuesday. I’m not totally keen on them. I don’t really think they are very suitable for off road action and they were really slippy on the ice this morning.
Can’t wait for some run commuting tomorrow morning.
